The Weekly Sketching Jump

The Weekly Sketching Jump

With the constant progress that I am making with my drawings, I decided to jump from not very detailed drawings to things that are more complex, like backgrounds in the drawings. The background of a drawing it’s very difficult to draw because there are so many details that I had to put and that I had to calculate according to the position of the character drawn in matter and relate the positions of the objects to match with the drawing.

It was a bit frustrating at the beginning because repeating the same detail over and over it’s very tiring and repetitive. Anyhow at the end I think its worthy because it’s a good way to improve on my drawing skills and making big progress jumps through the course of the week. I also did drawings of full body with a lot of detail to improve more and more with not just complex backgrounds and change a little bit the fields of my drawings through the week.

While alternating the drawings, during the course of the week I could find some good drawings and made plans with a friend to draw together and color our drawings that we have so far with his materials sometime during weekend, but we’ll see how it goes because I want to practice more on my drawing and coloring skills to make colored drawings for the last week of my 30-day challenge. I also found a Ted Talk, which I personally enjoyed and laughed with, that is about the life of an artist and how art affected his life and his career. Just check the hyperlink if you want to see it.

And with that been said, I hope everyone have a great day or night wherever you live, and many to come.
