The Final Drawing

The Final Drawing

For the final act of my 30-day challenge, I decided to do one more drawings to finish with gold brooch. I think this is my last drawings for the moment until I find time and inspiration for drawing again. I wanted to do only one more because I was lacking of inspiration for my drawings. At the end of the challenge I just wanted to relax, and hangout with some friends, not concentrate or think about what could I draw next.

During this challenge I’ve learned a lot about how a drawer feels while working and thinking, it’s a lot of concentration and my back hurts a little after drawing because there is no way I can draw sitting down normally. I think I needed to do drawing for this challenge because I could finally draw my favorite characters of series that I enjoy watching or reading.

At the end of the day I would need more practice to do amazing things like other people, (which I personally don’t think I will achieve because I can draw but that good honestly.), I personally wanted to do more realistic drawings, but while trying it I found out I suck at it, even more than I could’ve think of and I threw all those drawings close to where they belong, the trash can, because let’s be honest, those drawings belonged to hell.

Well, with that been said and my challenge finished, I hope you enjoyed my blogs, and I hope you have a wonderful day or night wherever you live and many to come.

Faces, Faces, And More Faces

Faces, Faces, And More Faces

After finishing drawing bodies for a while, I got bored of doing full body drawing and I started to do face drawings, some of them I consider that are my best work overall. Indeed, I only drew faces form the series named “One Piece,” that are an anime and manga that previously worked with for my drawings, but I wanted to do faces from this series indeed because I really like the characters I drew.

Some of the faces that I drew were a bit complicated to draw and it took me a little while to polish some of them, in the other hand, some of the drawings were easy to do because they didn’t have too many details and I could draw them in a short amount of time. It can be appreciated in the images, that some of the drawings were complicated and some easy.

This challenge so far has shown me that art is something very abstract and that everyone has a different opinion about it because some of us see art as pure representation of expression of emotions and thoughts, and some of us consider art a waste of time and something that is not easy to understand. My drawings represent what I like and enjoy as a hobby, nothing too deep like someone else’s drawings which can represent ideals, thoughts, goals, traumas, emotions, or their life in just one drawing/picture/tattoo.

With that been said, I hope you have a great day or night wherever you live.

Making More Progress

Making More Progress

As my challenge progressed, the more I wanted to draw in some occasions. During my challenge, on October the first, I drew something for my brother because it was his 21st birthday, I drew one of his favorite characters named “Noob Noob” from a series that we both enjoy named "Rick and Morty." I was happy because he really liked the drawing. Besides that, I started drawing bodies that are a little bit more detailed, but nothing impressive I have to say though.

After finishing some of my “body” drawings, I wanted to draw myself or at least the best that I could do trying to picture myself in a place with a decent background. I personally keep thinking that some of my drawings suck or they don’t look good enough, but that is just my opinion though. I personally would like to take some art classes, but I don’t like to draw by obligation and grades, in this case I would be losing money if I fail that class so, I prefer to keep it away of my college life just in that aspect.

Besides my drawing progress and my reasons to not take an art class, this challenge has been fun for me, even though I was 3 days in my bed doing nothing last week for literally feeling “drained” and I was just lazy, I enjoy this challenge so far.

With that been said, I hope you have a wonderful day or night wherever you live.

The Weekly Sketching Jump

The Weekly Sketching Jump

With the constant progress that I am making with my drawings, I decided to jump from not very detailed drawings to things that are more complex, like backgrounds in the drawings. The background of a drawing it’s very difficult to draw because there are so many details that I had to put and that I had to calculate according to the position of the character drawn in matter and relate the positions of the objects to match with the drawing.

It was a bit frustrating at the beginning because repeating the same detail over and over it’s very tiring and repetitive. Anyhow at the end I think its worthy because it’s a good way to improve on my drawing skills and making big progress jumps through the course of the week. I also did drawings of full body with a lot of detail to improve more and more with not just complex backgrounds and change a little bit the fields of my drawings through the week.

While alternating the drawings, during the course of the week I could find some good drawings and made plans with a friend to draw together and color our drawings that we have so far with his materials sometime during weekend, but we’ll see how it goes because I want to practice more on my drawing and coloring skills to make colored drawings for the last week of my 30-day challenge. I also found a Ted Talk, which I personally enjoyed and laughed with, that is about the life of an artist and how art affected his life and his career. Just check the hyperlink if you want to see it.

And with that been said, I hope everyone have a great day or night wherever you live, and many to come.

Drawing My Progress

Drawing my progress

As the days progressed I started drawing more and more, and of course a bit of my procrastination side tried to come out, but I tried to avoid it as much as a superstar tries to avoid paparazzi. The progress that I made its bigger than what I thought. Apparently, my drawing skills don’t suck as much as I thought. I was surprised with how good my drawings were compared to what I have been expecting.

Through the course of the week, I started to draw more detailed drawings and full body drawings. The more I draw, the more I enjoy it. Also, I have drawn something for my big brother for his birthday and he really liked it. It made me very happy to know that people think that my drawings are good. I always get an 8 out of 10 or 9 out of 10 as a score in most of my drawings, so that makes me very confident and happy.

Even though, there is a voice in the back of my head that keeps telling me that some of my drawings are pure trash, I still enjoying drawing and am looking forward on doing harder drawings and improve more and more in my skills until the end of this challenge.

With that been said, I hope you have a wonderful day or night wherever you live.
