Starting
Up, Sketching UP
As I start up with my 30-day challenge, which is
drawing a sketch per day for 30 days, I begin drawing an easy sketch of a Jolly Roger (Pirate flag) with the help of one of my manga tomes/volumes that I
own. My goal is to start easy and show progress each week until day 31 of my
challenge and have a big improvement for said day.
The idea
of drawing a sketch per day it’s easy for a challenge like this, but the hard
part is to show improvement in my drawing skills and that the process was
worthy at the end of the day. My plan for making a good process of improvement
in my drawings is to do harder drawings each weekend from a certain type of
drawing that I’ve setup for said week. The first week is for faces with not too
much detail and that are easy and simple to draw.
That’s why
I chose to draw a Jolly Roger for the first day. Indeed, my drawing wasn’t the
best but, it’s just the beginning of the challenge so I’ll see how good I can
get at drawing along the 30 days that I must improve. The process of making
this skull is very easy and straightforward. Personally, I think it’s a good
guide for people that want to start improving on their drawing skills like me
so I recommend using it.
The first pictures show the process of drawing a skull in an easy way, and the other two show my drawings compared to the original drawings.

And with
that said, I hope everyone have a wonderful day or night wherever you live.
